What does a regeneratively designed world look like?
When you look ahead 5, 10, 15, 50 years, what type of world do you want to be living in? What type of world do you want to leave for the next generations?
How do people live? How do they work? How do they connect? How do they eat?
At its heart, the word ‘regenerative’ evokes the idea of working with nature instead of against it. It means those concepts that are inherent in nature - abundance, connection, collaboration, biodiversity, diversity, balance, equity. Interconnectedness.
It does not mean inequity or extraction or greediness.
The world we want to live in has businesses that are designed by stakeholders in an industry to solve problems holistically. Food is grown in partnership with nature (meaning more nutrients for us and a healthier ecosystem!). Curiosity is supported and rewarded. Communities work together for the health of the entire community. Our water and air and land are thriving.
Food is central to the vision we have of this world and we can start to implement this vision each time we eat with the choices we make.
At Bumbleroot, we hope to invoke curiosity and help provide information to help you create the life and the world you envision.
